Born on July 7, 1983, Prashanth Shetty, better known by his stage name Rishab Shetty, is an Indian actor, filmmaker, and Kannada film producer.

 

In 2012, Shetty made her acting debut in Tuglak. He then made a significant contribution to Ulidavaru Kandante (2014). and directed Ricky (2016) as his first film. His following film, Kirik Party (2016), was a box office hit and won him the SIIMA Award for Best Director as well as the Filmfare Award for Best Director.

 

Since then, he has starred in Bell Bottom (2019), Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana (2021), and Kantara (2022), the latter of which earned him the National Film Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role and was his biggest grossing film.
