Fawad Afzal Khan (born 29 November 1981) is a Pakistani singer, model and actor. Khan has received two Lux Style Awards, and has established himself as one of Pakistan's highest-paid actors.
After making his acting debut in the 2000 comedy drama Jutt and Bond. Khan rose to prominence playing the role of Hassan in 2010 serial Dastaan. Khan established himself as a leading actor of Pakistani television in 2011 with roles in the blockbuster melodrama Humsafar. He achieved further success for his leading role in the 2013 romantic drama Zindagi Gulzar Hai, all of which rank among the highest rated Pakistani serial.
Khan made his film debut in 2007 with Khuda Kay Liye which was the highest-grossing Pakistani film of 2007. His performance in the film garnered critical appreciation and earned him the Lux Style Award for Best Actor. In 2013, Khan appeared in Armaan, a romantic drama that proved to be a critical and commercial success. Khan was widely praised for his role which earned him a nomination at Tarang Housefull Award for Best Actor.
Khan was first known for being the lead singer of Pakistani rock band Entity Paradigm, but the band split up. His songs "Shor Macha and "Rahguzar" did well in the charts, and was considered a critical and commercial success.
He starred in his bollywood debut film Khoobsurat opposite to Sonam Kapoor which is currently in its promotion across the India and set to release on September 19, 2014.
