Adnan Malik is an acclaimed Pakistani Film & television actor, and an award-winning tv commercial. music video and documentary director/producer under his own company's banner, AMP. Adnan is also WWF Pakistan's goodwill ambassador and an Asia Society, Asia 21 Fellow and Young Leader of the World. Adnan has also served on the board for the Citizen's Archive of Pakistan.

 

As an actor, he made his television debut with Mahira Khan in the hit series Sadqay Tumhare for the HUM Network (currently available on Netflix). Portraying the writer of the drama, Khalilur Rahman Qamar, in an autobiographical piece, Adnan won many hearts and earned three nominations at 3rd Hum Awards, winning two including Best Television Sensation Male and Best Onscreen Couple with Mahira Khan. He received his first Best TV Actor nomination at 15th Lux Style Awards. He followed up the series by playing a wanderlust photographer, Sikander in the TV Series "Dil Banjaara" also for the Hum Network, opposite Sanam Saeed and Mira Sethi. Currently, his feature film debut, Cake with Sanam Saeed and Aamina Sheikh is slated for a Pakistan and UK release in March 2018, where he plays the role of "Romeo". The film is distributed by B4U and is directed by Asim Abbasi.

 

As a director, His documentary Bijli earned him numerous awards including Best Short Film at Kara Film Festival in 2003.[2] He directed "The Forgotten Song" or Bhuli Hui Hoon Daastan, the first feature length documentary on Pakistani cinema, that played at festivals around the world, is an integral part of film syllabi across the country and was also instrumental in allowing Indian films to be re-screened in Pakistan after a 42 year ban. Adnan has also directed the cult music video "My Punjabi Love For You", and the award winning "Mera Bichra Yaar" and "Tanhai" with Zoe Viccaji. He also directed the promotional music video for "Yeh Jawani Phir Nahin Aani" and has directed numerous acclaimed television commercials for Coca Cola, Nescafe, Cornetto, Fanta, Oye Hoye, Lays, Pepsico, Tapal and Total Parco etc.
