The much-awaited follow-up to the 2018 movie Stree will soon be available. The horror comedy Stree 2, starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, is scheduled to delight viewers on Independence Day in 2024. The trailer for the film will be unveiled by the producers on July 18, after the publication of the teaser. Before the teaser is released, Shraddha Kapoor has given fans a sneak glimpse at the terrifying experience in store for them.

On July 16, Shraddha Kapoor posted fresh images from her forthcoming film, Stree 2, on Instagram. One poster showed their braid being held by a hand that appeared to be sparking with lightning. There was a spooky shadow in the distance.

The film's title, "Sarkate ka aatank (Sarkate's terror)," and the tagline "O Stree raksha karna (O Stree protect us)" were all written on the poster. Additionally, it said, "Trailer... 2 days to go."

In the caption, Shraddha penned, “Ek badi suchna - O Stree aa rahi hai in just 2 din! (A big news - Stree is coming in just 2 days) #Stree2 Trailer in 2 days! The legend returns this Independence Day, 15th August, 2024.”

The other two posters featured Shraddha's heroine using her braid to fend off the bad spirit. "Aatank jab Chanderi par chhaya, tab sabko ek hi nara yaad aaya, O Stree Raksha Karna!" read the caption on the second post. The third one said, "Kaali taaqat se sabki raksha karne woh aa rahi hai bas 2 din mein! (When terror spread across Chanderi, everyone remembered only one slogan, 'O Stree protect us')" (She will arrive in two days to shield everyone from the evil force.)

Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana are among the ensemble cast members of Stree 2. The film is directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande. It is presented by Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan.

Stree 2 will have competition at the box office from two films that are also out on August 15: John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh's Vedaa and Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu's Khel Khel Mein.
