Salman Khan and Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2: Writer Confirms Positive Meeting!

Renowned screenwriter V. Vijayendra Prasad has disclosed that he recently shared a new plot idea with Salman Khan about a potential follow-up to the 2015 blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Prasad is renowned for penning the scripts for big-budget blockbusters like Baahubali and RRR. He is also the father of celebrated filmmaker S. S. Rajamouli.

 

In a media chat, Vijayendra Prasad revealed, "I met Salman last Eid. I narrated a line to him, he liked it. But let's see what happens." Fans can therefore hold out hope that a sequel will be revealed soon.

 

There has been continuous speculation about a follow-up, Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2, and new information indicates that production is moving forward.

Salman Khan and Vijayendra Prasad have reportedly met several times and established a solid script idea that might serve as the foundation for the sequel, according to those close to the production.

 

Bobbili Simham (1994), Magadheera (2009), Eega (2012), the Baahubali films (2015–2017), Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), and RRR (2022) are only a few of the well-known Indian films that V Vijayendra Prasad is credited with authoring.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which was directed by Kabir Khan, features debutante Harshaali Malhotra, Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. It tells the tale of Shahida, a six-year-old Pakistani child who is silent, and how she and her mother part ways while returning to Pakistan from Delhi. She meets Khan's character, Pawan Kumar Chaturvedi, who makes it his life's work to make sure the girl gets home safely. One of the highest-grossing Indian films of 2015, the movie was a huge smash when it first came out.
