Virat Kohli's Spiritual Side: Sonal Chauhan Credits Anushka Sharma's 'Calming Effect'!

One of the most well-liked celebrity couples is Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli. Since the pair is frequently seen at temples and kirtans, fans have been able to get glimpses of their spiritual journey. Sonal Chauhan, who gained notoriety with Jannat, recently discussed the cricket player's spiritual side and credited Anushka with it. Sonal described the actress as having a "calming effect" on Virat.

 

Sonal Chauhan was asked in a recent media story what she would say to Virat Kohli if they crossed paths unexpectedly. She replied, “I would say Jai Shri Ram and Har Har Mahadev, since he's right now being very religious.” Sonal revealed that she had watched a lot of videos that highlighted Virat's spiritual side.

 

"Do I look the pooja-path types?" said Virat Kohli in a comment from years back. Sonal said she thought Anushka Sharma was the reason behind his change from then to now when asked about it. Sonal revealed that Anushka was bringing out Virat's spiritual side, referring to the NH10 actress as the "right woman" in his life.

 

Sonal went on to say that one's personality was influenced by the positive individuals they were around. “I think she's a calming effect in his life,” she further revealed.

 

Images of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli visiting Premanand Ji Maharaj's ashram in Vrindavan earlier in 2025 became popular online. Their children, Vamika Kohli and Akaay Kohli, were with them. The pair was observed requesting the blessings of the spiritual leader by bending down to him with their hands folded. In the past, they have also frequently attended kirtans performed by American vocalist Krishna Das.
