The New Dad Vibe: KL Rahul's Adorable Take on His Daughter!

On March 24, 2025, actress Athiya Shetty, the daughter of Suniel Shetty, and her cricketer spouse KL Rahul welcomed a daughter into the world. Since then, the pair has received love and well wishes from everyone. KL Rahul, a devoted new father, has finally shared his thoughts about his child, and his endearing remarks will make people smile!
During a training session the day before the current IPL 2025 match versus SunRisers Hyderabad, KL Rahul and Nitish Kumar Reddy had a charming conversation. The all-rounder for the SunRisers inquired, "How is your baby?" to which Rahul warmly responded, "Good." When Nitish followed up with, "Cute?" the star cricketer couldn’t help but smile and say, "Cute. Obviously, I will say cute."
He continued by describing how small she is, which made for a very touching moment that we must not miss.
Athiya Shetty, meanwhile, shared a stunningly planned ceremonial setup with her followers on Instagram stories on March 28. She posted a picture of two elaborately adorned plates, one filled with petals from flowers and the other adorned with rice, pink roses, and vermilion—elements that are customarily used in Hindu rituals. She also added a spiritual touch by writing "aum" at the top of the image.
Mana Shetty, the mother of the Hero actress, then reposted the Instagram story with a nazar symbol and a crimson heart, suggesting a special celebration. Although Athiya hasn't stated the event specifically, it appears that the family is hosting a customary welcoming ceremony to celebrate the arrival of their newest member.
Athiya and KL Rahul had earlier shared the wonderful news of their baby girl's birth on Instagram on March 24, 2025. A picture of two swans was shared along with the caption, "Blessed with a baby girl." The cricket player took a little break from the IPL matches to rush home to commemorate this momentous occasion and be with his family.
