Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali and actress Ananya Panday have amicably agreed to split up their planned historical romance, which was to be their first joint project. Date conflicts prevented this amazing partnership from happening.

There have been circulating speculations that Ananya passed over Imtiaz Ali's upcoming film in Favour of the rom-com Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, starring Kartik Aaryan. However, this is untrue. According to a media source, Ananya and Imtiaz will not be working together because the dates needed for the shoot did not coincide.

According to previous rumours, Naseeruddin Shah has joined Vedang Raina and Diljit Dosanjh for the upcoming period romance with a modern twist. Casting is currently in progress for the three females from various generations who will appear in the movie. It is anticipated that the as-yet-untitled project will begin production by the summer of 2025 and be released on the big screen around Valentine's Day weekend in 2026.

Following a successful 2024, Ananya Panday has a thrilling film schedule for fans, which includes Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, which co-stars Kartik Aaryan, Kesari Chapter 2 with Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan, and Chand Mera Dil with Lakshya.

Karan Singh Tyagi is the director of Kesari Chapter 2, which is scheduled to hit theaters on March 14, 2025. In 2025, Vivek Soni's Chand Mera Dil will also be released. Sameer Vidwans is the director of Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, which will be released in 2026.
