Badshah reveals about having sneakers worth Rs 22 lakh for a special occasion!

Singer and rapper Badshah recently revealed details about his incredible sneaker collection, including a pair costing Rs 22 lakh that he is saving for a major achievement—winning a Grammy. During the same chat, he also revealed his luxury car collection, referring to his Rolls Royce as a 'bakwas' and stating that he favors Swift or an Innova over his big wheels.

 

In a media interview, Badshah was asked about his alleged collection of 500 sneakers. He added that the true figure is about 1,000, possibly even more. While he only wears a few pairs on a regular basis, the majority of them remain in his collection.

 

Badshah claimed that the most expensive item in his collection is a Nike Yeezy 2, which costs around Rs 22 lakh. He revealed, “I have a pair worth Rs 22 lakh. It’s a Nike Yeezy 2. Kanye West collaborated with Nike on it, but then he left.” This cooperation between Kanye West and Nike is culturally relevant in both pop culture and the sneaker world.

 

Although its current market value is roughly Rs 22 lakh, he paid approximately Rs 6 lakh for it. Badshah highlighted that he did not purchase it as an investment, unlike many people who buy high-value objects for that reason. Instead, he got it because he loves footwear. He said, "The day I win a Grammy, I'll wear that shoe."

 

Badshah spoke about his luxury car collection, which includes a Rolls-Royce worth at roughly Rs 8 crore. He also stated that his Audi was provided by the corporation for a year as part of a marketing agreement. Despite owning high-end cars, he likes the driving pleasure of more affordable vehicles such as the Swift and Innova.

 

When asked about the satisfaction of driving a premium car, Badshah ridiculed the notion, stating, “Bakwas hai, Swift se badhiya koi gaadi nahi hai (It’s rubbish, no car is better than the Swift). Swift aur Innova se badhiya koi gaadi nahi bani (Swift and Innova are the best cars ever).”
