The day began with the ardent and enthusiastic welcome home of Bappa by the devotees of Lord Ganpati. On the auspicious festival of Ganesh Chaturthi, Shri Ganesh was welcomed into the homes of lakhs of Hindus with offerings of fruits, flowers, ladoo, and modak. Many Indian celebrities welcomed Ganpati Bappa home and went above and above to please the Lord, just like they did.
