Film war is worthy to watch once for its action-packed entertainment quotient! !!

The news of War has been constant ever since the action movie starring both Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff was pronounced. Under the Yash Raj Films banner, it features the two Bollywood icons pitted against each other in a fierce face-off, promising high octane action in a high stakes plot. An action thriller War which is helmed by director Siddharth Anand. The main aim of the RAW Agents of the Indian Army is to protect India and its citizens from any kind of harm been caused to them by the criminals of the underworld ensuring the safety of the mankind.

 

Film War starts with the context of the Indian RAW Agency, wherein there is a huge heat among the officials of the RAW Agency due to the loss of an immensely important senior official of the Indian RAW Agency. This loss links us to the underground criminals and their dreadful crimes which has caused havoc across numerous states of the country and innocent lives been killed.

 

As per story, Kabir (Hrithik Roshan) is an experienced Indian intelligence agent and mentor to his squad, which includes Khalid (Tiger Shroff). Together, they make a powerful team but things seem to change after a mission doesn’t go quite as planned. Kabir seems to have gone rogue and Khalid is put in charge of tracking him down. As the manhunt begins and both mentor and mentee face off against each other, the chase reveals dangerous and shocking secrets.

 

Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, lock horns in War. It’s a juicy affair for fans of both actors. Film War has lots of stunts, thrills, twists and just enough entertaining masala and explosions to keep captivated in the first half, but once the big reveals happen in the second half of the story, it goes awry. It excels in dare devil action sequences, but it genuinely falls short on the story front.

 

Hrithik Roshan is really impressive as the anti-hero. Tiger Shroff is also remarkable in his on-screen intensity and the high-flying action. Both actors feed off each other’s ability to ace good-looking action. Vaani Kapoor has a limited chance but she manages her glamorous avatar effectively. Ashutosh Rana acts well as per his expertise.

 

The action packed movie War is filled with the messages of nationalism and one's never-ending love towards their nation for whose protection and integrity, these courageous soldiers would go to any extent including sacrificing their lives as well. While dealing with such a bold subject, the director as well as the screenwriter made sure that they also threw the flavours of humour and entertainment to make it a light hearted comedy movie. War serves up a little bit of everything in its narrative - action, drama, music, romance, exotic locations and car chases. Director Siddharth Anand and his team have designed the numerous stunts of the movie to recreate thrills just like Mission Impossible and Fast And Furious. The high-octane stunts and the dialogues are entertaining, but it is a predictable affair.

 

Overall, film war is worthy to watch once for its action-packed entertainment quotient and stellar performances of Hrithik and Tiger!
